had a wonderful day today...ok maybe some sort of wonderful day...woke up quite early today...drove my mum to work and parked the car...picked up my x-ray form...took a bus down to sata...quite fast...everything was done in half an hour...results out in 2-3 days(fingers crossed)...but strangely looking at my films i sort of fell in love with my legs...haha...i think i have nice bones...oh well they r mine...
after that headed down to jurong point to meet my fren...while waiting did a bit of shopping...got my body shop body scrub for only 9.90 plus it's 2 bottles not 1...super cool...then also bought oceanous body spray cos it's only 9.90 and it comes in a plastic bottle wonderful for touch ups...managed to get my watch altered...the woman charged me 3 dollars...i guess that's ok...so now got another watch to wear...was browsing at bum equipment...sigh jeans cutting not very nice...really wanna get a jeans with nice cutting...headed to levis shop...yup they make good jeans and i can c y people pay that kind of price...the jeans really make u look good...haha...but dont wanna waste moneylah...
met up with my fren...we bought lunch to eat back at her hostel...had my chicken rice...have been having cravings for it for super long...sadly school doesnt sell it...sobs...while i had my lunch she bathed and got dressed...she was having hostel bash that night...super cool...i fell in love with her hostel man...but then again if i had gone to uni i wouldnt have met u wonderful people right?u loose some u get some...god's fair...she so neat compared to her room mate man...
after that we headed down to parkway to meet the third musketeer(spelling?)...havent met those two wonderful gals for so long...my fren wanted to buy a bag pack...dont think she'll find one there...we were at royal sporting house checking out bags and new tops for workouts...must say reebok has certainly improved their ladies wear...it didnt help that the reebok front zipped jacket that i saw with yvonne was there...sigh...i think it's 49 something so like 50lah...will save to get that...oh well i do own reebok running shoes and a reebok coin pouch...but of cos "the brand with 3 stripes" (old motto) aka adidas (new motto: impossible is nothing) still rocks...but their stuff r not cheap!!! do u know ladies clothes for adidas r more expensive then their male clothes...terrible...but their current line of ladies jackets r not nice...got stripes at the weirdest places then still got the thumb hole...so weird...i'm not saying just because it's expensive ok...it's really ugly...i hope stella macarteny had nothing to do with it...
she's the daughter of a beetle and she now designs adidas range of ladies clothes...but her swim wear is damn hot...too badlah dont have the body for it...oh well i'll live...atheletic world champs coming up...i'm supporting paula radcliffe...marathon runner...she is the world record holder...sadly she collapsed at athens...hope she wins...strangely she has never won a single world title...swimming world champs have ended...i think australia's swimming have made tremendous improvements...especially the ladies...my fav female swimmer finally won an individual world title...and she got 3 at one go...haha...phelps trully flopped...didnt live up to expectations...thorpe didnt attend...
so at parkway we didnt really shop/browse...i had to rush home for wedding dinner...just had a drink at mac cafe before i headed home...so showering in the evening i decided to try my body scrub...my skin is a bit smoother...then again i wasn't born with good skin...had skin problems throughout my life...doesnt help that i dont wait for sweat to disappear before bathing...so i end up with white spots that have darkened throught out my life...so sad...i'll live...
to end on a positive note...i'm really happy that national day is coming...i'm proud to be singaporean and i know that no matter where live takes me...singapore will still be the place i call home...
